Web Design

As a web designer my goals are to improve a website’s appearance, layout, and, in some cases, the content. Choosing the right colors, fonts and imagery is essential to invoking a good user experience. I strive to provide good web design, that is easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and suits the user group and brand of the website. I prefer to design with a focus on simplicity, so that no extraneous information and functionality that might distract or confuse users appear. My hope is to provide a site that both wins and fosters the trust of the target audience, removing as many potential points of user frustration as possible is a critical consideration. Below are a few examples of my web designs…

Custom website design for Namaste Cannibis supply ecommerce website.

The Client

Namaste a local cannibis ecommerce company was seeking to elevate their existing web design by offering many different ways to shop, and to inspire users to convert / purchase.

The Challenge

The website has wide variety of features including an extensive ecommerce presence with a variety of ways to filter products. The challenge was to create a varying way of displaying these products as lift-off from the home page. A place for displaying the current featured products, specials, or highlights, multi-filters, etc.

The Solution

Creating a slider above the menu fold rather than a typical below the menu slider to capture users attention to the offer being presented. In addition, a call to action is added to ensure users can sign up for deals and for customer conversion.

A Featured area for the deals of the day, most popular categories, or special days, ie. Father’s Day, or other special offers.

To instill customer stuff confidence testimonials and payment security features are alsio included on this page.
